Dance Dynamite Season 4 – The Explosive Edition

Dance Dynamite is more than just a competition; it is a celebration of young talent, passion, creativity, and dedication. Season 4 promises an explosive experience that will inspire participants to push their limits, discover their potential, and shine on a national platform.

Season 4 auditions will be held online — register and submit your performance video link (YouTube).

Selection Process

Selection Process

Online Auditions: Auditions will be conducted online from 28th August to 13th September 2026. Participants need to submit their performance video link (YouTube) while registering.

Expert Review: All submitted performances will be reviewed and evaluated by dance experts, who will shortlist the top performers.

On-Ground Semi-Final: If a city has more than 5 shortlisted participants, an on-ground semi-final round will be conducted at a selected centre in that city, where all shortlisted participants will be required to attend.

City Representation: The top scorers in each category from every city will qualify to represent their respective city at the Dance Dynamite Nationals.

Final Results: The final results will be announced between 15th October and 30th October 2026.

Solo Dance

  • Sub-junior: Grade 1-3
  • Junior: Grade 4-6
  • Senior : Grade 7-10

Group Dance

  • Junior: Grade 3-6
  • Senior : Grade 7-10
  • Group Size: Min 8 to Max 12 members

Rules and Regulations

Ground Rules

1. Audition entries must be submitted as a YouTube video link with open access. Links that require permission will not be evaluated.

2. Reel video submissions are not valid for these auditions.

3. Participants selected for the Grand Finale must confirm their participation by 10th November.

4. Each group must have a unique name representing their academy or dance style.

5. Attending the technical rehearsals is mandatory for all finalists.

6. Exceeding the time limit or using songs with inappropriate language will result in -10 negative marks, respectively.

7. The decision of the judges and the organizing committee will be final and binding, and no queries or objections will be entertained.

8. Each group must consist of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 members for the performance.

9. Violation of any of the above rules may lead to disqualification.

Non-Negotiable Rules

10. Top scorers in every category will be selected for the final round.

11. If any selected participant is unable to attend or declines participation in the finale, the next highest scorer will be given the opportunity to participate.

12. The list of finalists will be updated on the website by 30th October.

13. Selected solo and group participants will perform in the final round.

14. The final round will be conducted in January 2027.

15. The venue and city of the Grand Finale will be announced in September.

16. Participants must arrange their own travel and accommodation for the finale.

17. Participants must submit their final tracks to the committee by 10th December for verification to avoid any issues during the finale. They are also responsible for bringing their own performance props, costumes, and music tracks in the required format and must share them with the committee in advance.

Judging Criteria

SOLO PERFORMANCE

  • ENERGY: Performers should showcase the right amount of energy according to the choice of music
  • STAGE PRESENCE: Perform with Confidence and Keep the audience engaged
  • EXPRESSION: Performer should showcase their performance with the right body and facial expression
  • COSTUME: Perform with appropriate attire, theme relevance, and overall grooming.
  • CLEAN MOVEMENTS: Performer should present their movement in proper body alignment
  • STAGE AWARENESS: Performance Movement should be across the stage and avoid static performance
  • MUSICALITY: Performer should perform the choreography on the correct rhythm with the movement, highly inclined towards music
  • CREATIVITY OR ANY WOW FACTOR: Perform showcasing creative factors like originality and wow elements
  • CHOREOGRAPHY: Flow of movements in sequence which is presentably appealing
  • OVERALL IMPACT: How effectively all elements come together in performance.

GROUP PERFORMANCE

  • ENERGY: Performers should showcase the right amount of energy according to the choice of music
  • CLEAN MOVEMENTS: Performer should present their movement in proper body alignment
  • MUSICALITY: Connect rhythm with the movement, highly inclined towards music
  • SYNCHRONIZATION: Co-ordination of movement and transitions in the group
  • FORMATION: Arrangement of dancers presenting the choreography in creative patterns
  • EXPRESSION: Showcasing the right body and facial expressions according to the music
  • STAGE UTILIZATION: Effective use of stage space with different movement patterns
  • COSTUMES & PRESENTATION: Uniformity, theme relevance, neatness, and visual appeal.
  • TEAM COORDINATION: Teamwork, awareness of each other's positioning, and group harmony.
  • CHOREOGRAPHY: Flow of movements in sequence which is presentably appealing
